Young people do care! Everywhere!
I have just read a beautifully written blog by a young woman.

“The Canon Girl does Fashion” titled: EMO post: Amanda Todd

I am glad to see young people (or anyone) spreading the word, Stop Bullying.

She writes this “I talked about this girl in class after suggesting this particular issue to my teacher. It's a kind of human sciences class where we usually dedicate some of the time to an interesting article that had been in the news the past week.”

Now if we can get all the schools everywhere, not just Canada but all over the world to approach this in school, imagine the difference it could make!! This is a worldwide problem!!! And we need to stop it now!

See you all soon!

We need to protect our future!
I am re-posting my blog from Oct 13, 2012 from "For the Love Of Life". i cant believe the reaction that is coming from this young persons death. I will be posting a new one later today here. I need some time gather some facts and write it.

We need to protect our future!

Hi again,

I wasn't planning to post again so soon but couldn't stop thinking about what I saw on the news yesterday and is now everywhere I look on Facebook.

The sad part is, it is happening all the time and not just too young people. I love this age but it causes problems that didn't exist a few years ago. It was bad enough than when information couldn't be passed around the world in a few seconds.

Today kids are learning how to use cell phones and computers before they are really taught the damage they can do. All the time on the news we see things kids have done, fights at school and away from school, sex-ting, videos of things most of us older people wouldn't even think of doing and not just stupid stunts.

There are a lot of young people (and adults) who believe they can do or say whatever they want without fear of repercussions, or all they will get is a slap on the wrist. Once it is done on the internet it really can’t be undone, someone somewhere has the information. I am sure there are many out there that probably wish they hadn't done something, or told some terrible thing about someone after the fact but too late to stop what has been set in motion.

The sad part is most “grown-ups” don’t believe this could happen to them or their children. It only happens to people who live “bad” life styles or my kids know better than that. Or they are just having fun or joking. “Kids will be kids” is very common too.

Kids today are under so much pressure, for example how they look, how much money they have, if they even have a cell phone or laptop. How long they can stay out or who parents are the coolest, who allows their kids to stay out the latest or go and do things without supervision. Who has a girlfriend/boyfriend? How far have they gone sexually? Do well in school or you will not get into I good college, get a good job. There is a list so long it isn’t funny. A lot of the pressures we remember from our teens but they effect younger children now.

Kids are very smart, learn fast but they do not have the all the knowledge or restraint to use a lot of the tools available to them (not just kids some adults as well).

Peer pressure can destroy a young person “everyone is doing it, I will not show it to anyone else”, in fact in can destroy an adult as well.

We have to teach children that what you do and say can affect the rest of your life.

We have to teach them not to treat others like they are nothing. (Not just other kids but adults as well.)

We have to teach them “To do unto others what you wish unto you”.

As you probably already guessed what I heard on the news “Amanda Todd’s Death”.

That shows exactly what I am talking about. She made a mistake. We all do. What happened to protecting her, stopping the original bully- blackmailer? And the other kids at the first school?

Is this what we want to teach them, that if you make a mistake everyone has the right to treat you like crap? What happened to understanding? Learn from others mistakes?

They say there are laws in place to stop bullying in any form. Where are they?

Say you stop a bully in school, what happens when he/she isn't a school? It is amazing what you see when you look around you. How many kids do you know who are bothered in or out of school? Things taken or destroyed? Threatened? Or they go home and on their computer the harassment is continued there? Are they being punished?

Sure some of these bullys turn into wonderful adults because they learned young that what they were doing was wrong.

But the rest turn into adults with the knowledge of how to get around the laws. And you can be sure they are going after adults, not children hopefully. Bullying is a crime that never really stops and can turn into far more serious crimes.

I just hope that people will realize that something has to be done and actually do something about it. Young people are our future! They will be making/changing our laws. They will decide what our world will be like. Don't we want a future of peace and understanding? A safe world?

Well that is my opinion and I just needed to get it out there. Maybe get people to look around; we need to protect our future!

Thanks for listening,
A

Welcome All!
I am new at this but just to explain a bit of what I want with this site.

I will not be writing everyday, but at least 2 or 3 times a week.

It is a place where I can say what I feel about current events, the price of soap(just joking hope that never comes up!), whatever catches my mind.

It could be about the book I am reading, movie I seen whatever.

I love science fiction. Enjoy a good horror/thriller movie or series.I love animals(have pets of my own)pictures, books and movies(I think I have a Christmas CD sung by cats LOL). And any music that is good! I love crafts, knitting and crocheting.

I also love to learn, and that's why I am here. Maybe there are others out there that think the way I do. If not well I am sure I can make a few people think. :)

So once this is set up. and running I will start.

Hope to see you soon.

Some people don't think, for some reason who ever made this thinks everyone will believe it is Anonymous, we aren't that stupid this will backfire on them either way and strengthen what they where trying to destroy.  I may not have agreed with how they handled some things but don't believe this is them.  this is Anonymous' response (wish they hadn't sworn lowers the effect of the words):

Response to #FawkesSecurity’s threats. Please disseminate it:

Greetings from Anonymous

This message is to the media:

Earlier tonight, the Twitter account @FawkesSecurity posted a link to a pastebin and a YouTube video that stated the following:

“As of today 200 kilograms of composite Nitroglycerin and commercial explosives have effectively been concealed in a government building”

Let us be perfectly clear: Anonymous is not a terrorist organization. Anonymous does not use bombs. Anonymous does not condone violence in any way. Anonymous supports justice and universal equal rights. We support peaceful protest.

At this time, we are not sure whether or not @FawkesSecurity is trying to troll, or if he’s trying to discredit the name of Anonymous in the eyes of the world. Maybe @FawkesSecurity’s twitter and YouTube account was hacked. Perhaps this is the FBI’s way of trying to label Anonymous as terrorists so they can begin using the NDAA against us.

Either way, fuck whoever posted that threat.

We are Anonymous
We are legion
We do not forget
We do not forgive
Expect us

Here is the site I got response :  Anonymous Response

Anonymous Who are they really threatening?

Well I dint here anything about a bomb going off on
November 5, 2012.  Did anyone else?  That is so  sad that someone thought they had to scare people to make a point.  Obviously that was not Anonymous but some trying to crush anonymous down.
I am not saying I agree or disagree with them but but why do others think they can get things done by scaring everyday people including Anonymous.
I wonder if one or more of there followers have turned to the darkside. Why are they scaring the average person?  People like me who work had for what I have.  Took me along time to get where I am and I don't want people scaring me, for any reason.  Sounds like bullying to me.
If we don't like what you are doing so we are going to take it out on these other people.  What does that sound like to you?
Shutting down Facebook?Claiming to have leaked Paypal account information?  Than I read that Paypal couldn't find evidence of this hacking. Whose accounts where hacked?  everyday people or corporations?  Nothing like scaring people by saying they leaked information such as passwords from, lets say, my Paypal account? I didn't here whose accounts were supposedly hacked.  So it seems now we have to suffer until we check our accounts and hope we were not one of those leaked.
I
don't  understand why they are going after the regular people, scaring them, for what ever reason.  If they wanted to hurt Facebook and Zynga I am pretty sure many would have boycotted both for 24 hrs and get the same or even better results.  I would have and I do both.  The real power is the people, if people had boycotted than that would have shown they had real people to back them up.
But this scaring people just isn't right.  We have enough to worry about like a roof over our head and working and teaching kids to be good to each other, and things like this are just telling kids it is okay to blackmail, threaten and scare others for what ever you believe is right.  There has to be away from them to get their message across without scaring people, threatening to take away the little enjoyment they have in life.

Well those my thoughts and I really had to say that be cause I didn't like the way I felt when I saw they threatened to shut down Facebook, Zynga  and released Paypal passwords!!.
Is that how they want us to feel scared?  We don't  need them for that, life does that.
